Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR): Approaches to Alleviate Abiotic Stresses for Enhancement of Growth and Development of Medicinal Plants

چکیده
Plants are constantly exposed to both biotic and abiotic stresses which limit their growth development reduce productivity. In order tolerate them, plants initiate a multitude of stress-specific responses modulate different physiological, molecular cellular mechanisms. However, many times the natural methods employed by for overcoming not sufficient require external assistance from rhizosphere. The microbial community in rhizosphere (known as rhizomicrobiome) undergoes intraspecific well interspecific interaction signaling. rhizomicrobiome, biostimulants, play pivotal role stimulating providing resilience against stress. Such rhizobacteria promote increase yield immunity known PGPR (plant promoting rhizobacteria). On basis contact, they classified into two categories, extracellular (in soil around root, root surface space) intracellular (nitrogen-fixing bacteria). They show effects on plant directly (i.e., absence pathogens) or indirectly. Generally, make niche concentrated form roots, latter exude several nutrients, such amino acids, lipids, proteins, etc. Rhizobacteria build special symbiotic relationship with section plant’s inner tissues. There free-living PGPRs potential work biofertilizers. Additionally, studies that can ameliorate effect help enhanced producing therapeutically important compounds. This review focuses various mechanisms mitigate medicinal enhance tolerance these stress conditions.

Plant growth promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR): a review
Soil microbial communities are often difficult to characterize, mainly because of their immense phenotypic and genotypic diversity. In the last ten years, a number of PGPR that have been identified has seen a great boost, mainly because the role of the rhizosphere as an ecological unit has gained importance in the functioning of the biosphere and also because mechanisms of action of PGPR have b...

Salinity is the major environmental factor limiting plant growth and productivity. Under salinity conditions, plant growth is affected by a number of factors such as hormonal and nutritional imbalance, ion toxicity, physiological disorders, susceptibility to diseases, etc. Plant growth under stress conditions may be enhanced by the application of microbial inoculation including plant growth pro...

Twenty isolates of bacteria were successfully isolated from rhizosphere soil samples collected from different plant species growing at various locations in North Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to investigate their effects on Cucumis sativus L. cv. Marketmore growth and damping-off disease caused by Pythium aphanidermatum. The results of dual culture method showed that only three isolates out of twenty, w...
